Yesterday was exactly two years since my last journal post. Just so you know.
Which you won't even care.

I dunno, I haven't posted on deviantArt for a long time. Haven't even been browsing on here recently now that Kongregate and Newgrounds have their own art section. Not that I'm active in art there either.

Recently, the only thing that got me back into drawing is our club, LastArc. That one darn club that punishes you severely for not turning your drawing assignments on time. I'm still behind on that.

In other words, chances are there isn't any reason for you to follow me. I don't plan on being anything big on DeviantArt, and even I do become big, I don't think it'll help me in anyway. In fact, I think the popularity will just burden me down. Besides, who wants to look at a bunch of anatomical practices that are of a lower quality than professional artists?

It's been a while since I've noticed ConceptArt, another art site, except with art of much higher quality. I swear, though DeviantArt does have great artists, in ConceptArt you see those quality artists posting all over the forum. It's really the perfect training place for any artist-in-training.

Alas, I am not one of those artists-in-training.

I'm just drawing for fun, and if I can in the future, sell some of my paintings or sketches. Nothing big, nothing big like creating an entire anime series or writing a space opera from start to end. Not when I'm only like this. Anime is only a front, the simplified version of the entire art world, realism, impressionalist, renaissance. Until I actually learn to draw realistic sketches and pencil drawings, I shouldn't consider art as a way to make a living.

After all, only the top few percent actually rise to prominence. Art is only a mean of self-expression. Basing your life on self-expression is extremely risky, especially if your expression is not one that the majority can accept.

Nevertheless, I am still drawing.
Despite being extremely un-professional in my attitude toward art.

I guess that's just what happens, eh?
